Well, I've been advocating it for years, but it now looks like this might become a reality...

California Initiative to Control and Tax Cannabis will be on the ballet this year. It will allow one ounce of pot for recreational purposes. The tax money will help bring California out of it's deep deficit and help fund programs.
I'm going to help the cause by donating, volunteering and blogging about why it's important for this bill to pass, and believe me, it's not just for the obvious :P
